Rise and shine kids – it’s Aries Season!

Aries, that vanguard of the zodiac, begins its transit tonight just after eight bells.

Aries enters the scene on the fairest day of the year – twelve hours of light, twelve hours of darkness. But unlike balanced, temperate Libra, Aries is all about contrast: confronting the sun head on, reveling in both blinding light and darkest night, never at ease in the twilight.

As an Aries (Sun, Mercury, AND Venus – egads) this is – not surprisingly – my favorite season. But in my decidedly non-humble opinion, it should be yours too.

At their worst, Aries can be impatient, moody, and petulant. But at their best, Aries is direct, passionate, doggedly loyal – and never boring. First into the fray, last to back down, you always know where you stand with an Aries. Their worst censure is indifference.

So here are 27 tracks* about going big or going home, freaking out in the middle of the street, and generally being as extra as humanly possible.
